The team behind ArtSpace envisioned a platform where digital art could be discovered, negotiated, and collected with the same excitement and trust as physical auctions, but fully online. They wanted to create a space where artists could connect directly with buyers, control their pricing, and grow their audience, while ensuring collectors had a smooth, credible, and curated experience.
Existing digital art platforms often feel transactional, confusing, or disconnected. ArtSpace aimed to change that by creating a platform that feels personal, intuitive, and empowering. The goal was to simplify the auction experience, support artist independence, and build trust between creators and collectors, while ensuring transactions remained secure and the interface approachable.
We designed a clean, user-friendly platform with a visual language that feels vibrant and welcoming. Interactive wireframes were used to simulate real user flows, allowing us to validate the offer-based negotiation, browsing experience, and user journeys through testing and iteration. This process ensured that every touchpoint from discovery to offer felt intuitive and engaging. To support trust and clarity throughout the experience, we focused on clear visual hierarchy, verified artist profiles, and transparent offer interactions. The result is a digital art marketplace that blends flexibility, creativity, and community. Enabling users to explore, connect, and transact with confidence and ease.

Art & Artist Explore
The platform offers a seamless way to explore art and discover creators from around the world. Users can browse featured collections, filter by medium or theme, and dive into artist profiles that highlight their background, artistic style, and available works. This creates an engaging experience where exploration feels effortless, personal, and connected. Empowering collectors to make informed decisions and artists to tell their story.
Artwork detail
Each artwork page presents a clean, immersive layout that highlights the piece front and center, supported by clear metadata including medium, dimensions, and edition. Users can view pricing, offer history, and artist notes—all in one place. Making it easy to evaluate the piece and begin the offer process with confidence. The design ensures both clarity and emotional impact, letting the art speak while keeping the experience intuitive.
Messages
The built-in messaging system enables seamless communication between artists and collectors. Tags such as Offer, Custom Order, and Purchase organize conversations and bring clarity to the context of each interaction. Whether negotiating a price, requesting a commissioned piece, or confirming a sale, the chat keeps everything transparent, personal, and easy to manage.
Artist Profile
Each artist has a dedicated profile showcasing their bio, portfolio, and available artworks. Creating a space to express their story and build collector trust. Beyond displaying work, profiles include a Donation feature that allows supporters to contribute to upcoming projects or passion pieces, helping artists fund their creative journey and stay independent. It’s more than a profile; it’s a platform for connection, support, and creative growth.
artist dashboard & Order management
Artists can easily manage their listings, track offers, and monitor sales performance through a dedicated dashboard. The interface provides real-time insights into active bids, accepted offers, and revenue, helping artists stay organized and in control. Combined with their public-facing profile, this dashboard empowers creators to manage their presence and business in one seamless space.
To shape a smooth and intuitive user experience, I designed wireframes that mapped out the full platform journey. From discovery to interaction and transaction. These early prototypes helped us align structure with user behavior, clarify navigation patterns, and identify friction points. By testing key flows before introducing visuals, we laid the groundwork for a product that feels clear, confident, and easy to use.
With a clear structure and tested interactions established through wireframes, we moved into the visual design phase. We translated functional layouts into a visually engaging interface that supports ease of use, reinforces trust, and feels distinctively ArtSpace in every detail.
The visual identity of ArtSpace was crafted to reflect both artistic energy and digital clarity. We combined spacious layouts, bold accents, and soft gradients to create an interface that feels expressive yet controlled. Every component was designed with usability in mind, from clean card structures and intuitive action buttons to thoughtful use of color for feedback and focus. The result is an interface that feels vibrant, modern, and purposefully designed to support both creative and confident decision-making.
I selected Reddit Sans for its modern, friendly character and excellent readability across devices. Its approachable tone aligns well with ArtSpace’s goal of accessibility and creative connection, while the clean structure ensures clarity for pricing, descriptions, and real-time interactions. It’s a font that feels personal yet professional, perfect for a vibrant art platform.
