Broadwalk is an AI-powered corporate intelligence platform designed to help investment teams uncover growth signals, identify emerging risks, and monitor company performance using a combination of structured data and real-time qualitative insights. As our client, Broadwalk came to us with a clear mission — to build a product that transforms overwhelming information into clarity and decision-ready insight. My role was to help shape that mission into a seamless digital experience that empowers analysts to move faster and think deeper.
Investment teams often face fragmented workflows, siloed tools, and overwhelming data volumes with little actionable context. Traditional platforms fall short in delivering timely, qualitative insights—especially from fast-moving alternative data sources. BroadWalk’s goal was to simplify complexity. We set out to build a platform that could centralize financial and alternative data, surface early risk signals, and provide deep qualitative analysis—all within a clean, intuitive interface tailored for fast-paced decision-making.
We designed a streamlined and modular interface that brings together financial data, sentiment analysis, and alternative signals such as social media trends and hiring activity into a single, easy-to-navigate platform. This allowed us to create a system where users can easily explore company profiles, monitor risk categories, and identify early signs of traction without being overwhelmed. The result is a powerful corporate intelligence tool that empowers investors and analysts to act faster with confidence. BroadWalk transforms raw data into meaningful narratives—helping users uncover growth signals, identify emerging risks early, and streamline investment workflows. The dashboard provides a high-level overview of portfolio performance, watchlist movement, and sector distribution, helping users track both their positions and potential targets in real time. Global economic indicators like the confidence meter and index trends offer macro-level insight, enabling investors to understand market sentiment and adjust strategies accordingly, all from a single, streamlined interface.
Signal Feed
The signal feed surfaces real-time activity from across the startup ecosystem, turning fragmented updates into a cohesive narrative of growth and risk. Whether it’s rising negative sentiment, regulatory alerts, or sudden leadership changes, every signal is contextualized and prioritized to highlight what matters most. This feed enables analysts to stay ahead of change.

Quickly scan and compare public and private companies across sectors. The explorer view allows users to filter by sector, location, and company type making it easy to surface top movers, identify trends, or build watchlists. Whether tracking high-growth tech firms or stable private entities, users get a clear snapshot of what’s happening in the market right now.
Financial Health
The Financial Health section offers a clear, visual overview of a company’s fundamentals, covering revenue, net income, cash flow, debt ratios, and profit margins. By displaying key metrics across quarters, the platform allows users to quickly identify financial trends and performance patterns without digging through lengthy reports or spreadsheets.
Sentiment analysis
BroadWalk provides real-time insight into market perception by analyzing sentiment from both social media and news sources. Users can track how a company or brand is being discussed over time, with sentiment categorized by source and tone. This helps investors understand public opinion trends and potential reputational risks at both macro and individual company levels.
Before moving into high-fidelity design, we developed detailed wireframes to map out the platform’s core structure and user journeys. This allowed us to validate the information architecture, ensure intuitive navigation, and align the layout with user needs. Each screen was designed with a focus on clarity, reducing cognitive load while maintaining access to deep, actionable insights.
I created interactive wireframes that closely mirrored the final product experience, enabling realistic prototype simulations. These prototypes allowing us to test key hypotheses, gather feedback, and refine the user flow before moving into high fidelity.
I crafted a visual language that feels sharp, modern, and focused—prioritizing structured layouts, restrained color palettes, and typography that communicates clarity and intent. Subtle motion and consistent spacing create a sense of rhythm, helping users stay oriented as they move through complex datasets. This design approach transforms dense financial information into a calm, approachable interface—one that supports fast decisions without overwhelming the user.
I chose Inter for its modern, highly legible letterforms and exceptional performance across digital interfaces. Designed specifically for screen readability, Inter brings a sense of precision and clarity to data-heavy environments like Broadwalk. Its wide character spacing, open curves, and neutral tone ensure that large volumes of text and numbers remain scannable, accessible, and easy on the eyes—supporting users through long analytical sessions while maintaining a clean, professional aesthetic.
